  : The apartment is very well located if you want to stay in the heart of Alfama, close to shops, restaurants and metro/trains stations. The check in is almost entirely online, so it makes it easier to pick up the keys afterwards.
  : The apartment is very noisy on the side of the living room since it has 2 bars at the ground floors and the partying goes until midnight every day. Also, it is not so clearly mentioned, but you are supposed to go up a very steep set of stairs and so for people who have knee/mobility issues it can be a real problem. Also, the shower works strangely, with very hot and very cold water interchangeably running. The place is advertised for 4 people, but would not recommend it for more than 2. Wifi is very poor quality so don't expect to be able to work from the apartment. There are interesting paying coworking options around though.

  : The location is excellent central in Alfama. What you should know, however, is that it can be noisy in the living room due to the bar downstairs on the street, but in the bedroom you no longer hear that. The apartment is equipped with everything you need. We were there with a small child (3 years) and also for this the apartment was suitable. The Santa Apolonia train station is 3 minutes away but it is also easy to walk. The famous streetcar 28 passes very close by. The contact with the hosts was very good. they answered quickly and were helpful.
  : A minus point gets the bathroom: the shower seems to be a bit in need of renovation and sometimes there was a somewhat unpleasant smell that came out of the drain. It is nothing negative but it would be good to know these things before booking: 1. the stairs to the apartment are very narrow and steep. if you have small children, a stroller or problems with climbing stairs you need to be prepared. 2. the key must be picked up in a mini market, which is about 10 minutes walk away. 3. on the day of arrival we were told that we could check in after 4pm because the apartment was still being cleaned. this information should be given earlier so that you can be prepared for it.

  : Good location. Close to the metro, nice restaurants, and historical center
  : Check-in was literally a quest. We had to pick up keys from a grocery store which is on a hill not very close to the apartments. When we got to the house and entered the hall it appeared that the doors doesn't have numbers on them. And the instructions have only a hint of the floor of the flat. Using all my deduction skills I identified our door by the shape of the key. What a luck that it was the right door from the first time! Inside the flat, a strong terrible smell of sewerage met us and it was not possible to get rid of it even by opening all the windows. The shower cabin was significantly covered with mold. Staying inside was simply unpleasant. We needed to check out between 8 to 9 am. But the grocery store from which we picked the keys opens only at 10. So there was another quest of 3 days of messaging with robots/support to sort out the early check out.

  : The apartment has a nice location, even though it has a noisy bar downstairs and it can be heard.
  : The condition of the apartment is not good - you can smell the mold and the tiles in the bathroom are basically falling. The layout is nice and the apartment is sunny. I would not recommend to people with sensitivities to mold.
