  : The hosts had prepared recommendations and instructions about the neighbourhood, etc. which were very useful. The apartment provided everything necessary, incl. a fully equipped kitchen.
  : The place needs a renovation. The beds and the pillows in the bedroom were a bit unstable and not comfortable. The bathroom needs to be renovated.

  : The smell of the sewers in the whole flat as the gas leaked up through the sinks and shower. The tiny single beds. The check-in. The terrible attitude. The mugger/drug dealer that approached us in the street as we tried to gain access. Our experience of this place was awful. We had to call Booking.com customer services in the afternoon to get our access code. We were sent a message with a code and an address and a description. When we arrived - at about 1AM - we found that we could not access the property we had booked. This was because the owners had sent us instructions that were a mix of two of their properties. We booked DNA3 and half of the description applied to this property. The code was for DNA5 with incomplete instructions. This meant we were wandering around Lisbon at 1AM trying to decipher the instructions we were given. We called the contact number for the owner and they did not reply. So we called Booking.com customer services. They managed to get through and the problem was quickly solved - although it was insulting that the owners tried to tell booking.com that we were "in the wrong place".. as if it was our fault.. (but we had the right code???) At the same time they told us that they had "upgraded" us which would be fine if we had been informed of the change... They obviously made an error and refused to admit it or apologise. It was upsetting and awful and we were told - by message - that if we didn't like what we had got then we should go back into the street at 1AM... awful awful response... Awful awful people.
