  : The location was great as we could walk to a lot of places easily. The size was great for our family and the kitchen facilities suited our needs perfectly.
  : Picking up the keys was incredibly confusing - it should either be a door code or someone should meet guests on site with keys. It is too confusing and a lot more work to get keys from 10 minutes away especially if guests are foreign and have no wifi or internet access to figure things out. Having to get a taxi or walk with luggage 10 minutes back to the rental is just not realistic. Otherwise, things were great except hand soap in bathrooms should be provided.

  : The owner must consider installing ACs in the house. During summer it is very hot and the fans are noisy and do very little to easy the situation. Keeping the windows open during the night is out of question unless you want all the action from the outside in.

  : Great location - level walk to most attractions. Steep walks within Alfama but always downhill back home.
  : Almost didn't book this place as the instructions on the Airbnb listing were to pick up a key at a different location and extra fees for late evening check ins. These instructions are out of date. As it turns out you can self check in by giving all your details online and paying the tourist tax separately and then the key can be located at the property.

  : Good location, very light during day with plenty of cafe's and restaurants nearby, nicely furnished in general with exceptions (see below). Clean, plenty of facilities. Beds comfortable and clean, good towels provided.
  : Great having key in a key box but some confusion over location of key as instructions were not clear at all, hopefully ok from now. A walk to the office was needed. Turned out the person writing the instructions hadn't been informed the key box was not on display but hidden in a cupboard! Settee was the most uncomfortable I'd ever sat on and wants throwing away, we had to place bedroom pillows on the seating to avoid feeling the springing, no instructions on how to use TV, it just displayed 'no aerial signal' even with both remotes on so we just left it. What about writing a welcome pack with details on how everything functions? Bathroom sink in smaller bedroom was tiny, ok for a child, not an adult so all water went over surface and through hole at back of sink into toiletries stored underneath and soaking into toilet paper, no lights fitted at all (none in the ceiling or under the units) in the kitchen area which made its use after dark almost impossible, the 'mood' lighting from the lounge didn't help so had to rely on street lighting from outside! If you were familiar with the function of the oven, microwave I guess you could operate them 'automatically' but to guests remember its all new.

  : Cosy apartment at the very hearth of the city. Nice restaurants in the area where you could enjoy the popular fado music.

  : The property is walkable to so many things it is in a wonderful location. The decor was also lovely and the beds were comfortable. From the apartment we could see the cruise ships come in and at night the whole neighborhood had pop up stands with food and drinks. There are many good restaurants close by and a main shopping/restaurant is just a 15min walk. The Fado Museum is right across the street and we could take in an entire concert from the window.
  : The property has no air conditioning. I typically dont mind no AC but Lisbon is HOT and we had trouble sleeping. Opening the windows was fine during the day but at night it was too loud with folks up partying into the night.
