  : Close to the sea
  : Electricity cut at 05:00 in the morning. Clothes stink after the night with mould. Noice behind the wall, upstairs. Waking up with carbage cans rolling down the street.

  : The location was the most positive thing. Decent walking distance to a main train/metro hub.
  : Stayed in room 4a which was not as shown in photos. Very outdated, mould growing on walls and in cabinets. Very dark in the mornings with no natural light. Bad smells coming from sink plumbing. Cocroaches every day. Very loud noise from the street and woken at 7:30 every day from people taking their garbage bins to the street. Everything just felt gross and unclean.

  : Not far from Cais do Sodre station.Good water pressure in the shower and plenty of hot water.The host was friendly and responsive.
  : My husband, daughter and I stayed in the Triple Room. The photos made it look larger and nicer than it was. A lot of the furniture was very worn and tatty. The whole place smelled of damp, mould in corners of room. Peeling plaster and lots of mould spores in bathroom. Some of the facilities listed did not match what was actually there. E.g. there was no coffee maker, no bath, no parquet flooring. None of these things were vital to us but the point is that overall they gave a better impression of the place. When I asked about the missing coffee maker and toaster, some instant coffee and a toaster were delivered.The biggest issue was the lack of soundproofing, again, listed as a feature. The front door did not seal shut tightly. Therefore, although secure, it permanently sounded like the door was ajar. It is a noisy neighbourhood at night. A few rowdy all-night bars close by and every night from around 10pm to 5.30am we were kept awake by music, yelling, singing, etc from very drunk individuals and groups passing right by our door. A properly fitting double glazed door would have helped. The only source of daylight was from the window in the top half of the front door, if you opened the shutter. But this meant a total lack of privacy because everyone walking by outside could see right into the room. One small pillow per person, very stained under the pillowcases and no pillow protectors.A short while after arrival we asked if we could change to a different room/apartment but it wasn't possible.

  : The location of the place is super. It was easy to walk to the metro/train or walk to the city centre from there. Everything was good and is as described. You get good value for money with this place. The staircases is not a problem, unless you're disabled or old. So just be aware :) The doors use a keypad, so there is no collection of a key or vise versa at checkout, which I really like.
  : There's a lot of cloro in the water, but that's probably common in Portugal. There is some noise from the nearby streets, but if you have been out and active during the day, you should easily be able to sleep through it.

  : The location is very central - quite close to the market venue with all kinds of cafes and restaurants and metro/train station Cais Sodre. You can also reach some central places by foot. It was interesting to experience living in an old Portugese house. The hosts were very responsive: all my messages vere answered quickly. They even provided me with scissors after my request. :)
  : The bathroom was really small. As I lived on the upper floor, I had to climb a lot of stairs to get there. It's not easy if you have to carry a suitcase or after a whole day of walking.

  : Very good location - close to the Metro and city attractions.
  : 1. Mold on the walls - extremely humid place - we didn't feel safe, 2. The apartment had no windows - only glass in the doors that had to be closed, because the apartment is located on the ground floor without any privacy. 3. There was no proper ventilation.
