  : First of all: the staff is really nice. Very friendly people, everyone. Breakfast was very good, different types of fresh food. I particularly enjoyed the good bread, excellent msli, pancakes and fresh fruit, among other things. Plus, the hotel offers free coffee, sandwiches and cake over the day, so you can have a Swedish fika in the afternoon if you like. Jttetrevligt. ;-) My room was ok. Furniture and bathroom were a bit dated, but I knew this beforehand (I had contacted the hotel when I booked and they had informed me that standard rooms weren't refurbished yet), so that's fine. Clean and reasonably large, with a desk. The hotel's located in central Lidkping next to the famous town hall (hence the name ;-). The station isn't far either, which makes the hotel a good starting point if you want get to places like Kinnekulle or Lck using public transportation.
  : The one drawback with my room was that it could be a bit noisy at times. The walls are thin, so occasionally you get to hear someone snoring in the room next door. You also get to hear noise from outside. It seems that during the summer the seagulls keep screaming all night long (it's dark only for three hours or so), and unfortunately they used to make a racket on the roof right next to my window. But that's not the hotel's fault and there probably isn't much the hotel can do about it.

  : As it was quite warm we had the windows open and there was some noise from people in the square outside at night.

  : Very kind staff who has been very helpful - really great and appreciated, thank you! Complimentary sandwiches available 24/7. Small yet well equipped rooms with plenty of places where to hang clothes, towels etc (sometimes really missing in other hotels). Good wifi. Hotel parking was available for free (four places), otherwise one can park in front of the hotel (without charges between 18 PM - 08 AM).
