  : The satellite building isn’t super comfortable and is, frankly, a little awkward. It’s very obvious that someone lives upstairs (dog barking, etc), which isn’t terribly relaxing. It was also freezing.

  : We liked the antigue furnishings and decor. The common area rooms were comfortable to read and chat. The breakfast was very good.
  : The room was tiny. Too small to walk around. We peaked into to other rooms that look roomy. The electric outlets were inadequate and out of date. There was one bedside outlet for electronics but we needed two charging stations. We had to unplug lamps to plug in our electronics. The GFI in the bathroom did not work. Two light bulbs were out. A small adequate TV with Roku but you could not see the full screen lying in bed and no adequate charis to watch TV. Hot water was sketchy and did not last for a full shower. A TV in the common dining room was left on during our first evening, loud and no one was watching. We turned the volume off so we could enjoy the ambiance in the nearby dining room.

  : Location and charm were top notch...the included breakfast was excellent! A lovely visit for a Tanglewood weekend.
  : With historic and charm comes quirks... bathroom light chain broke.... but the hosts and staff were very responsive.

  : The historic buildings, furnishings and artwork were beautiful. The Africa Room was very unique with lots of room for a group to relax together. The location was excellent. Good host recommendations for dinner. The hosts were lovely and had an adorable dog which my family loved. Very unique property with lots of charm.
  : The breakfast experience was very inconsistent. They need more staff, better organization, and more consistant communication during breakfast. Some members in our group were very dissatisfied with breakfast as they were barely told what the options were and were treated very brusquely, while others in our group had a nice breakfast experience. Also, perhaps pay more attention to allergens. Although I provided advance info about food allergies, the options were very limited and not proactively offered. As for lodgings, while we loved the Africa Room, La Petite Chambre was ridiculously small for two people - it should be booked as a single only.

  : Location to Tanglewood. Beautiful 19th century summer home. Hugh public rooms, from a grand era.
  : Our Budget room was small as expected, but the assigned bathroom is Nextdoor on a public hallway which had no bath soap nor tissues and could be cleaner and minus the mosquitoes.
