  : Our room was very spacious with plenty of easy chairs and comfortables beds. The bathroom was exceptional with lots of space to put everything one needs in a bathroom and excellent lighting too.
  : We stayed midweek and for reasons we perfectly understand no breakfast is available. Whilst there are numerous cafes in the town I prefer to eat in.

  : the staff were helpfull and cheerfull the room was nice the view was not very good. Did not have breakfast.

  : Great central location, able to use onsite restaurant or walk to other establishments.
  : Low ceiling in one room, little tricky for the taller person, but old property so can’t be helped, just need to be careful

  : The staff were very nice, busy but thoughtful.
  : The food was very poor. The floor in our room creaked so badly. The shower wasn't very easy to use and too low. What was with the green light in the bedroom that shone all night long. The room was stuffy but when we opened the window the road was very noisy. Wouldn't be able to recommend.

  : I liked the location this is my former home town and this place is in the centre of town so convenient
  : I didn’t like the huge massive cobweb that was in the corner of the room ,I also did not like the noise that came from another resident and friend who made a lot of noise once the pub closed , on making their way to the room , and in the night , but I think it was the dried blood spots on the floor that I disliked the most , I had been asked when I called the hotel if they allowed dogs as I have a mini dachshund , I was asked was he male or female dog, I said male why , I was told the previous week a guest had stayed with a female dog , who had been in heat and they had left blood in the room , my room had dried blood on the floor , the house keeping leaves a lot to be desired to say the least , the cobweb had obviously been there months judging by the size of it , they charge £69 for the room and it is not cleaned properly or to a standard to charge that price .i did put a complaint in with the hotel , and requested a refund , the assistant manager Michelle was very sorry , and apologised , and sent the email to the owner , but I still waiting on a response

  : Great location. Lovely old inn. Nice bar and friendly staff.
  : Parking was a bit hard (pay parking in town across road), but the location does not say they have parking so I should have expected that.
