  : The setting of the hotel is lovely and the dinner was very good. The rooms are large and the shower was a great reprive from the largely horrible ones we have experienced during our time in Itay.
  : We were unaware the pool would be closed considering the warm temperatures and no notice on booking.com that it was closed, it was a large part of booking this hotel since the kids could have really used a break in the pool after hours in the car. Luckily, the resident farm animals were a good distraction. The beds were only moderately comfortable and the pillows were quite hard. Breakfast was quite small and mostly just pastries, cold scrambled eggs were offered and some slices of Swiss cheese were offered, but overall warm breakfast options for protein should be offered to balance out the sugar.

  : Very nice hotel with spectacular views all around from the terrace and pool. Friendly staff and good food for lunch and dinner, all locally produced.
  : Breakfast was quite poor. Nice coffee but the food all mainly pre-packaged goods that get put out day after day. Some of the decor needs a refresh and the food and drinks options at the pool are quite limited.

  : The receptionist was great and helped us as much as she could considering all. The location is beautiful and the the grounds were nice from what we were able to see. The beds were comfortable.
  : On arrival we couldn't drive in. The gates were closed so we had to get out and walk in. After searching for 10 minutes we found the reception. The receptionist then told us that hotel was booked for a private function and we were the only guests there that were not part of the function. She then told us the spa and the restaurant were also closed even though I had booked a table. We were also unable to use the pool. I had been in contact with the hotel a few days before. Not once did they mention the function/wedding or tell is that it was happening. They would have known that the wedding was happening well in advance and had sent me the menu for the restaurant and what was available at the spa. The receptionist then said that we could have dinner at 9pm ot 9:30pm depending when the function ended. We said we would think about it and went to our rooms. The wifi didn't work. So we couldn't even look for any other options for dinner. In the end we decided to have dinner there. Big mistake. We went to the table that was set up for us. It looked amazing but then my husband sat down and the chair was soaking wet. We are pretty sure that most of the antipasta we ordered was left over from the wedding. The bread was rock hard. My husband couldn't eat his gnocchi at all and trust me, he is not fussy. My meal was luke warm. Ok. We can forgive a little. We had a laugh and went to bed. The next morning we went for breakfast as the only guests in the hotel. The fruit platter was dried out fruit (probably left over from the wedding). The coffee was disgusting. There was limited options. That was the final straw for me. I am normally not one to complain but the dinner the night before cost us over 200 euro and there was no apology from the owner of the hotel. The receptionist was nice but it really wasn't her fault. She did the best she could.

  : Spa was closer and only massage service was available. For being a 4 star hotel in the middle of nowhere, I was expecting list of activities to provide to guest.
