  : Pool area was really nice, also the restaurant, people at the reception, location. Its noticeable the hotel is refurbished and considering how it looked like before, they did a good job.
  : Spa receptionist(s) should get a proper training on how to treat guests. And if someone accidentally makes a cup of tea (without being informed one part of spa is only for people who booked treatments) you shouldnt take the tea away (literally, tea was taken away from us and dumped in the trash) from guests, just because treatment wasnt booked. Its a cup of tea. Not the bottle of champagne.

  : Room was pretty large, and had a lot of space. Pool was nice too, sun all day long.
  : There was no restaurant or bar service supporting the pool. So you had to go into the hotel restaurant, order things and head back with them to the pool. Which in my view is not only a missed opportunity for them, but also a less enjoyable experience for the guest.

  : Spa facilities open to everyone not just those getting massages. Loved the indoor pool and hot tub and lounging in the comfortable beds in spa area.

  : The hotel's design is simple yet tasteful. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was stocked with L'Occitane amenities. The hotel has 2 swimming pools (an indoor and an outdoor one) which are great for casual swimming (both are heated, and depth varies between 1 and 1.5 meters). There's also a hotter nordic bath. Breakfast selection was decent, and every product was of good quality. The dinner (which costs extra) was also very nice (even though the menu was on rather short). There's also a small fruit garden on the property. While it might be the most photogenic garden I've seen, it has a great variety of citrus trees, wines and even kiwis. Lastly, I would like to note the hotel's staff: everyone was kind and accomodating when we interacted with them. The hotel also provides different activities for an extra fee (such as visits to quintas or a Douro boat tour) should you be bored of relaxing by the pool.
  : The carpet in the room might use some deep cleaning (there were some stains). The burger from the lunch menu was a bit tough.

  : All front desk staff were great. The waiting staff were very very mixed with a distinct male female divide. Female staff were great, all male staff were surly and unfriendly. Very odd
