  : Lovely rooms with outdoor seating area away from the main pub. Friendly staff and full breakfast included if a Saturday or Sunday which was excellent value. We also had an evening meal which was excellent.
  : There is a narrow spiral staircase to access the bedroom from the seating area and bathroom. We were fine with this but guests with mobility issues would struggle and need to be aware if booking this room.

  : The location was very good and the room was spotless. Our evening meal was very good although expensive.
  : The access to the bedroom via a spiral staircase was difficult to negotiate and the bedroom was very cramped. Sunday breakfast was not available until 9am which meant we had to skip it. Management promised us 2 bacon baps to take away but at 830 am the pub was still locked up and we weren't able to gain access,

  : Excellent facilities, particularly the shower and very clean and comfortable.
  : Our room was right next to the road so the traffic noise was an issue when sitting outside on the patio. Also we were not aware on booking that it was on two levels, the bed upstairs and the sofa and bathroom downstairs which we found very inconvenient, joined by a steep spiral staircase. Definitely not designed for older people! The main downside, however, was the fact that decorators arrived at 8.00 am on the day of our departure (check out time was 10.00am) to paint the outside of our accommodation. There was only a curtain separating us and we had to negotiate wet paint on leaving. Surely, the painting could have waited until after 10.00 am when we had checked out?

  : lively gastro pub, pretty good fish and chips, good local beer available
  : room was technically only partially what would be considered habitable space in anything other than airb&b, because of very restricted headroom, most of room under 1.8m. Don't know about the other 3 rooms on site, maybe they are better. In addition there was no breakfast - but to be fair the web site probaby mad this clear. Breakfast only available weekends. Take a hard hat if thinking about getting out bed in the dark.

  : Only thing clean in the room was the linen and bath towels
  : No WiFi, no TV reception on downstairs TV. Coffee machine dirty and had a used pod in from previous people, foisty mouldy shower that smelt terrible, staircase so narrow you could barely get up or down. Hung onto balustrade to get to wardrobe no room at side of the bed. Back of tv remote missing, thought it was under the bed and on looking it was filthy. Bedroom view was a dirty roof top looking onto a dirty section of the building and a noisy road. Some woman from another room kept looking in while I sat reading, trying to relax, and used my outside table for a smoke! When asked to leave, she clicked her tongue and sauntered off!!! Noisy road and kids running around outside of door so closed my curtains and felt claustrophobic. A very unpleasant stay for which I paid 88.00. Very unhappy. Would have been better off in a Travel Lodge!!!
