  : The waterfront unit we had (L304) was recently remodeled and very nice. Everything worked, and there were no issues. The lawns, pools and property were great, with beautiful landscaping. Very helpful staff. Location right near grocery shopping, restaurants and the Food Truck Park! 5-10mins to Kaanapali beaches and area.
  : Specifically L304 - A few things could be added to the kitchen gadgets, and a "cheat sheet" for each of the (different) AC controllers would have been helpful. Wish the property had an actual beach, but the property makes up for it with all the lawns, pools, chairs etc.

  : We enjoyed that the complex was fairly small, had parking, and close to the ocean. Front desk staff was kind and tried to help us the best they could to modify our accommodations.
  : We booked through Booking.com. The actual property looked nothing like the booking.com pictures. The first room we checked into was filthy, dated, smelled of mold, and was in disrepair. The carpet and curtains were stained, paint was peeling from the walls, the furniture was sticky and falling apart, and the bathroom had mold everywhere. Additionally, we had booked a two bedroom unit with king and queen beds. The unit had twin beds in the second room. The only AC for the entire unit was next to the backdoor and was blocked by furniture (which has to be a code violation of some sort). After a few attempts, the resort staff were able to move us into a vacant 3 bedroom unit which was much cleaner. Another family member was staying at the resort and had a newly remodeled and very clean unit. We understand that each unit is privately owned and the interiors vary, however we were extremely disappointed by the stark contrast of what was advertised on booking and the original unit we were given. Thank you Papakea staff for helping us and making our stay comfortable.

  : The master bedroom had no air conditioning and it was uncomfortably hot. We had multiple bugs and geckos in our room. The lights also did not work in the kitchen/living room.

  : room is not that clean, its really an old cottage style room and not I can literally see roaches on Kitchen and bathrooms, I cannot leave any food outside even for an hour, kitchen is not in useful state either.

  : The view was lovely and the grounds outside were very nicely maintained. The pool was clean and the staff very friendly. The unit had all the important amenities to make our stay easy and comfortable.
  : The inside of the rooms were a little run down. I would have liked the pool to open earlier (7 or8) as I like to swim first thing in the morning and with our time change we were up by 5:30, so it was a long time to wait.
