  : Breakfast was delicious and the breakfast hostess was charming. The location across from the beach is great. The train station is right across the street, too, if you don't have a car. Parking for our car was easy, just a few steps around the corner.
  : A number of serious issues all added up to a completely miserable night - so miserable that we walked away from 400 Euros to change locations. A fan should already be in the room when you check in! This is a hotel with no AC. A fan is a "no brainer". The host is not available after 8 pm so when we returned in the late evening and realized how suffocatingly hot it was in our room it was too late to ask for a fan. We opened the balcony doors for some air, thinking we would use the giant mosquito net suspended in a knot above the bed, but when we untangled and lowered the net it overwhelmed us with the smell of dust! It must not have been washed or shaken in a long time. The only blanket available to keep the mosquitos off us was a hot duvet style blanket. Why, - in a room with no AC? We desperately needed only a sheet to keep them off but there was none. The bathroom smelled terrible in the morning after being closed up all night. I think the cleaner did not disinfect the toilet brush and holder before we arrived and the heat incubated a pool of stinky water.

  : So quaint and truly accommodating. We got lost and arrived late. Not only did they wait for us but then took time to offer advise and suggestions for dinner.

  : Loved the breakfast and friendliness of staff. Nothing was too much trouble and the little touches went a long way!

  : Very tasty breakfast, cleanliness (even though the bathroom was shared), close to the beach and it's big with a good entrance, kids are great there. Awesome hosts!
  : It's a bit out of town if you don't have a car. But that's not a problem either, there is a bus stop 2 minutes walk away

  : The location was excellent being just over the road to beach but also close to Lagos.
  : Not having a shower in the en suite. there was an a shower attachment to the bath but nothing to hang it on.

  : Breakfast was not being served daily anymore due to the off-season. Our host bought us some fruit, yougurt, meat, cheese and bread. Had beer and wine for us too. Easy to get to Lagos and connect with train to Faro.

  : Breakfast was super, beach was very close, staff was exceptionally gracious and helpful, place was very clean!! It was right on the bus route and near the trains. A beautiful restaurant right next door! Highly recommend this place.
  : Room / bed was not changed in 5 days. But otherwise, everything was perfect!!
