  : 4 persons, reservation confirmed for 2 overnights. Arrived to the inn by car at 21:40. Didn't call to inform due to some disfunctionalities in signal(hilling area) and considered in this inn (auberge=inn ) arriving before 22:00 shouldn't be an issue. When arrived the entrance hall's door( wooden door) was open but the doors to the inn were closed. I have noticed some lights and voices inside(obviously there were some persons inside), I've called but nobody was picking up to answer: I've tried to signalise my presence(some noise, flash-lights ) in both front and back yard(where restaurant), no answer at all. And the first strange fact: after some 45min, while I was in the backyard somebody closed the wooden door which initially was open without asking us who we are and what do we want(car was parked right in front of the entrance, full light)!! No answer to my phone calls, therefore tried to find an alternative in a hotel in the area but couldn't find anything in the area (involved also Booking in solving this situation). With no alternative we spent the night nearby the inn, assuming that in the morning when owner will arrive we will take our reserved room and after a needed rest we'll re-enter our planned program. But next morning by 7:30 when noticed the restaurant door was open came the second strange moment : we talked to the owner which told me that he was permanently there (as it was obvious)!! I've asked him why did he not called us to ask whatever, when he closed the wooden door to the entrance hall, but no answer(just a long silent moment). Then I've asked him to show us our room reserved for 2 overnights and he told me that they have no room for us inspite our reservation( another embarasing moment when he tried to say that her wife knows the room situation but she was not there and she couldn't be reached by no means! ). No further comments.

  : Bed was not as comfortable as we would have liked Breakfast was tasty but overpriced for what was provided. We didnt speak much French and host didnt speak much English so communication was an issue. NOT a complaint just for others to be aware. would be helpful to have some translated signs around the property.

  : Very good food. The room was clean and Nice unfortunately no snow. The area is for cross country and if there where snow you could rent Them 100 meters from the Auberge.
