  : The chateau is beautiful and breakfast was great
  : The room made a loud noise every 10 minutes from the mini fridge which constantly interrupted our sleep. The shower didnt drain and completely flooded our bathroom! There were no lights in the hallway and needed our phone light to open the room door because it was so dark. The dinner at LOrangerie was bad! We did not like the food at all and could hardly eat it! What a disappointment after reading the food reviews of this restaurant! It was shockingly bad.Also the grounds need a lot of work! Poorly maintained grounds. The hotel receptionist when we checked in was not very accommodating when we told her about the shower problem however the hotel reception staff at check out were very helpful, a big difference in staff attitude!

  : Beautiful building that has been tastefully renovated. The staff were polite and helpful and generally friendly
  : There are insufficient staff to power a hotel of this magnitude, 5* Relais and chateaux partners I expect better. Waiting an hour for breakfast coffee, scraps of the buffet left half an hour before closing, a pool with an attendant thats more interested in his iPhone than clearing up beds, providing fresh towels and selling food and drink to hungry thirst customers. Furthermore, it seems in the Orangerie which is my only point of reference, ithere lacks any leadership. There were children running riot at 930pm, circling my table and almost knocking staff down, the maitre de should have politely asked the parents to intervene. As it was, my rather average 200 dinner left me irritated at best. Spend a little more and stay in many of the nearby R&C properties nearby where you wont be left wanting.

  : Rooms are a bit on the small size for the price point - with the bed being to only place to chill in the room.A bit remote from any other facilities.

  : Fantastic stay at Chteau de Fonscolombe and the perfect getaway for relaxation, fantastic food and lovely hotel staff! If you want to get away from it all, this is the place!
  : If you don't have a car, you have to rely on cabs which can be quite pricey

  : Lovely quiet hotel with large grounds and helpful staff.
  : The traditional bedroom, bathroom and toilet were very small for the cost and we would definitely want to get a larger room on any future stay.
