Disappointing

  : Clean, near shops and restaurants. Internet was working well.
  : Room is much smaller than it looks in the pictures, bed size is 140cm wide(mattres with springs) not what you wish to sleep in unless you are alone. There are various sources of noise which makes sleep even more difficult: fridge is loud, the sewage from other rooms... additionally being surrounded by (steep) roads means you can hear motorcyclies revving their engines for a good part of the night and early mornings (with windows shut). Luckily we are on a 3 weeks tour, if this wouldve been our only week of holiday it wouldve been a dissapointment. Also, if we were on mainland or at least not on such a small island, we wouldve moved to another accomodation after first day. Staff was friendly however one thing which I disliked, he insisted on paying city tax on arrival even if this was charged by booking as 0.5% of the room cost, its a small fee, but its more about the fact you are taken for a fool.

  : Kostas the property manager met us at the port and drove us to our apartment. He was so helpful and kind. Giving us lots of information. He was there whenever we needed him to answer any questions, help us out with a ride, hiring bikes or a boat. He was fantastic!!!
  : The only thing was the kitchen did not have much of anything to cook with. However we cook most all our meals so for most people it probable would be a big deal.

  : clean & in great location view from balcony really bad. balcony was directly into public footpath so no privacy at all.
  : very small we were 2 friends travelling so had a bedroom each. if there had been 4 of us it would have been very tight squeeze. views from bedrooms & balcony really bad.

  : The apartment was really comfortable, clean and cozy. It was equipped with all we needed and then some. Major plus the mosquito nets on the windows/balcony door!! Also, really warm and nice welcome from the manager that went above and beyond to help us with everything we needed during our stay - so big thanks to Kostas!! The location is very convenient with regards to restaurants, cafes, bakery and other places to shop in the small town of Lakka. Also nice beaches around within walking distance, hikes and other places to visit
  : The location is near the center of the port hence it was quite noisy until late and then from early morning (for those who prefer total calmness). We were ok with it but would still appreciate a bit more calmness Even if small it is very cozy - although the space could use maybe a few more furniture like a small couch or an armchair to use as seating apart from the eating table for extra comfort

  : Good apartment in the centre of Lakka village. Very close to all bars and restaurants and walking distance to nearby beaches. Kostas met us at the port, gave some good tips and checked us in - very nice guy and on hand if you need anything (you wont - Lakka is chilled out)
  : Everything was good. Note there is occasionally some street noise (people not cars or music) - but nothing major.

  : Kostas was an excellent communicator all the way through. He even gave advice on getting ferry tickets before we left our place of residence. He suggested best places to eat which were all excellent, in an area that had a lot of touristy mediocre eating places. When we needed something, he was onto it immediately e.g. when the air conditioner did not work due to flat batteries, we had the replacement batteries within 20 minutes. He also checked in with us half way through to ensure we were okay, while respecting our privacy. The rooms were very clean, nicely renovated, had all we needed as indicated on booking.com. Room cleaning service provided. Kostas provided reasonably priced transfers when we requested this (important to organise this due to limited taxis on the island). The sea/beaches and restaurants are very close. After seeing the other little towns, we feel Lakka was the best choice to stay in.
  : Be aware that it is in the middle of town so noisy due to the restaurants, but we found it exciting. You can shut the windows and put the air con on and that makes the noise quieter as it is double glazed.
