: This hostel is unbelievably close to the bus station, right across the street. Lockers. Bathrooms reasonably clean -- staying here is manageable if you are in transit. OK for one-night stay. Two kitchens. Ample bathrooms. I got the bottom bunk I requested. It's about 15 minutes to walk downtown.
: The guy on the front desk wasn't clear on "opening" the front doors, so I was confused on how to get back in to the hostel & no number to call, since tere is no one regularly at reception all the time. For this reason, if there's a problem, who to go to...?!?!?! With my bed near the balcony door, I was absolutely super ticked off that one guy kept going out on the balcony to smoke -- even though it was clearly written on a sign to NOT do this -- so the smoke came back into the room -darn it all! "If there was a staff member on hand" I could have passed it on to them to handle. There were guys there who were "clearly" not tourists (in transit or perhaps looking for a place to stay) ..... so if you plan on targeting tourists as well as long-term stays, then have a staff member on hand, esp to ensure female visitors that you'll support them if they run into problems. For this reason I will not stay here again, unless the owner writes me to inform me that they have considered having someone on-hand 24/7. With all my reviews I written, this is the first time I've been so blunt :( :( :(
