9 Bedroom Vacation Home with Pool (1818)

  : The house was huge, plenty of space and extra rooms and beds.. the front also had alot of parking space for extra cars. I liked that 3 rooms had bathtubs which you normally dont see. The backyard is beautiful and the pool is really big.
  : Very dirty. The first day i got there the first thing i did was go to the pool, the pool was full of cigarettes.. many worms.. and dirt all over the corners.. I called and they said maintenance would pass by the next morning to take a look, they didn’t come till 12pm. Already one full day of me staying without being able to enjoy the pool. The first night when i went to get in bed i noticed the sheets were extremely dirty, i decided to take a look at all of the other rooms and there was not one cover that was not stained or dirty, i called and they sent someone over to switch out the sheets.. but they only brought 5 mattresses and there were 6 other beds that they said they would come the next morning and wash them. They never came. The Umbrella outside was thrown on the floor, broken. The whole 4 day stay the AC was extremely hot, i kept all the doors closed 24/7 so the AC would not turn off and it did not make a difference. You could see dust all over the lights and over all the surfaces. The refrigerators none of the lights worked and they barely cooled anything, my milk even went bad. There were so many broken/damaged things, and overall the house was just very badly kept.. this is one of the most expensive houses i’ve booked for a 3 night stay and honestly i expected much more.

  : The house was beautiful beside the repair and the pool was fantastic
  : When I arrived the key was not correct we had to wait 3 hours before we got in the house they had to call the maintenance he said the door was jammed it was raining and when we got in the house it needed some repair and we shown everything to the maintenance guy and we took picture of the things that needed to be repair I think it should have been inspected before we check in

  : Home was really nice and clean. Decorations were nice.
  : Property felt like it was located in a section 8 housing area. Shady people with pants to their knees constantly walking back and forth around the homes. Constant fighting among African American clientele in which the women could be heard screaming for blocks. Block party happening around the corner upon arrival with the street blocked off by patrons and a big grill on the back of a truck in the middle of the street. The pool was unusable due to a broken filter. Cloudy/ Oily substance with hair and insects in the water. (Notified management on 1st day, never resolved) Several large spiders with webs in the corners of pool rooms. 2 women also walked into the home at about 9:30am using the pin pad after the first night. (We stayed 4 nights) they walked out after realizing someone was home and stood on the porch for about 20 minutes. Our large party had all just left the property in a large van, I assume this was a stakeout. When confronted they related that “they didn’t speak English” called management and the rep said she would look into it and call me back in 15 minutes, did not return call for 2 hours and asked I have a note here to call you back but I can’t remember for what.” When booking homes the biggest requirement was a clean functioning pool, this absolutely was not the case. Pool was not the same pool pictured which was large and clean. This pool was small and gross. Would not have booked had I know there would be zero pool access. Will not be staying in this resort area again. I feel as if I were ripped off. Instead of labeling “luxury vacation home” should be named..”luxury home with stagnant water pool, located in the middle of a ghetto amongst bickering Africans.”

  : I liked the look and size of the property. The pool was nice and the neighborhood was very clean. The staff were very responsive via email.
  : I didn’t like that the upstairs was extremely hot and the AC guy had to come out multiple times. The first night there was water leaking from a vent in the living room ceiling. However, maintenance came in a hour to fix that. He said a pipe burst in the ceiling. He didn’t fix the AC upstairs the first night though. The pool chair was broke, a bed frame was cracked, the PAC-Man game didn’t work, there was carpet stains, there was missing blinds leading out to the pool. We found a condom and there were earrings found in the house. That was funny because in the contract I would get charge for not taking out the trash. Yet, the property wasn’t thoroughly cleaned. With all that said, the AC was a major issue because my friends were uncomfortable and came down sweating. The AC wasn’t fixed until the 2nd or 3rd night. I would advise the management company to check properties before guest come. I felt like I was doing an inspection for the property just to not be charged for prior issues. THIS IS YOUR JOB ACO!!!!!!
