  : Location was excellent, everything was extremely clean and tidy
  : When we opened the front door we were hit with an absolutely overpowering smell of disinfectant/ jeyes fluid that meant we had to rush round trying to open windows. It was really awful way to start the stay! I also thought the kitchen was very gloomy, could do with some more lighting and the bedding was very old, I think for the price we paid for two nights I would expect 100% cotton sheets at least, and feather pillows at most! Plus it wasnt clear on the instructions that it was a shared garden not accessed by the house which is a bit of pain when you bring a dog.

  : The location is great - very central & close to Broughton House & local Co-op. The general dcor was nice.
  : The heating was on a timer which was unable to be changed. This meant that at times we were very cold, with no way to adjust. You can't use the fires in the property. The cottage was not entirely clean. The dcor could do with being updated.
