  : A very pleasant small German country inn, expertly run by a lovely friendly family. The inn itself was good, and the rooms in a newer extension very clean and comfortable. We ate there that evening, and that was good too, but the best thing was the friendly chat afterwards with the family and some other guests, they really made us feel at home, sehr gemtlich!
  : Can't escape this, Der Heidkrug was very difficult to find, and Booking.com must improve the information on their webpage. All we were given was what seemed to be a postal address, but that was no help at all in finding the place. The stated town is Verden, a town well over 12km away. Our satnav couldn't accept this address, so I tried the postcode, but by following this, we ended up in a field about 8km away, German postcodes cover a large area. We eventually found the place after I stopped and asked at a filling station, where the helpful attendant remembered the name and drew a map for us with written instructions, after which no problem at all, but Booking.com must do better with the info on their webpage.

  : Quaint German Inn with a homey feeling. Excellent breakfast and hostess was extremely gracious and friendly. Nice environment. Immaculately clean.
  : Radiator not warmed up on arrival on the first night. Took a while for the room to warm up and no extra blankets available in the interim. Would also like an extra towel and a facecloth.

  : A fantastic welcome from Frau ? , we were unsure of our exact eta as it depended on traffic ,roadworks and the weather. We had an excellent dinner and a very comfortable night's sleep
