  : This is a historical lodge. We loved the old photos on the walls
  : There is no air conditioning. However they had a fan running and the windows open. The night we were there in August, it got cool at night so it wasn't a problem. After 8pm the doors are locked and no staff, so make sure you check in before that. We didn't get supper because they stopped making pizza at 7:30. They had 2 sandwiches and a salad left in the cooler. No food was stocked the next day either so bring food! There was absolutely no wifi here.

  : Staff were friendly if a bit overwhelmed with activity. Nice location for access to the Sequoia trees. Some nice hiking in the area on Stoney Creek.
  : We had to leave after one night instead of three because there was extremely poor to no internet. The Lodge advertised that it had WiFi everywhere but we were told to go park in front of the staff housing area and try using theirs since the hotel's did not work. The staff internet barely worked... some of the time. My wife was expect to work remote for her job the next day so we had to leave and find a new place to stay 100+ miles away which had good WiFi. The lodge should not advertise that is has WiFi... especially in a day and age when remote work is common. When I complained the internet did not work right after check-in the first night I was told by a staff member to "try later". Another guest standing nearby said, "I've been here days and it has NEVER worked!" He was right. It never worked for us. Even the manager grumbled that the owner should NOT advertise the place as having internet. This was a deal breaker for us. Also, the room was unspectacular and quite outdated. If a rustic setting with no internet is workable for you, then the easy access to Sequoia National Park may make this place acceptable. Otherwise, steer clear.

  : Sequoia is a beautiful location and this is in the National Forest. It was close to shuttles to take you to hikes etc. The staff at the Lodge was incredible and helped whenever they could. Good breakfast.
  : The person who owns the Lodge has done no outside work. The retaining wall in the front falling down and weeds are everywhere so it doesn't look good outside when arriving. The patio in back looks as if some work had been started but was left undone. No sweeping on the outside. i could go on.

  : Staff was un-attentive and rude. Check-in window time is extremely limited. Wi-fi did not work at all the entire stay. We were given a key to enter after hours that did NOT actually unlock the door to get into the facility and they have no staff members at the front desk or in the building after hours. We were only able to get into the building by the grace of another visitor who happened to be awake in the lobby. There was no indication from the website that the water wasn't potable, and we were not told this until we happened to read a piece of paper in our room that suggested against drinking water from the tap and instead provided us with two water bottles to use during our stay.

  : I would not recommend staying here, especially for the price. Their kitchen was down so only breakfast was available. Staff was nice but that was about all that was nice. Everything was greatly outdated and didn't seem super clean. WiFi was garbage and didn't work 90% of the time, couldn't get the tv to work in either of our rooms. Very disappointing.

  : The location was excellent, and the reason e picked Stony Creek,, because it was between the hikes at Sequoia National Park and Kings Canyon. The breakfast was good, except for the last day when the coffee machine broke down. The room was clean, except the wifi didn't work well, ans we were basically without service.
  : The wifi was terrible, and there were few comfortable places to relax outdoors after a days hiking

  : The lodge was in a fantastic location.
  : The room had a weird smell, didn’t appear to be completely wiped down, and the bathroom even had some black mold from not being properly cleaned. The “continental breakfast” just included bagels, fruit, and a few granola bars.

  : Great location but under staffed, poor customer service and the staff completely didn’t go out of their way to be helpful. Simple things like where should we take our pizza boxes because we don’t see a big trashcan inside. Rather than offering to take care of it, we were told to take it outside for ourselves and put it in the locked trash containers with no instructions on how to open them. No one checked that the lamp worked in my room and it took two days to get a replacement lightbulb. Coffee and breakfast not offered until 8 am. At least coffee could’ve been put out at six.
