  : The rooms were surprisingly good and neat. I really liked my stay there. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.

  : This is a lovely place. I was walking the Kerry Way and stopped off here for a night. Great accommodation, food/drink and friendly staff. Even if you are not a walker (or climber!) you will enjoy a stay here.

  : The place is simple, but the beds and shower were good. Food was equally simple but OK. Location is secluded but OK too, though not as close to the hikes as expected.
  : During our stay, the hotel was visited by a troop of bikers who lined up their Harleys under our room and set up their tents on the little lawn behind the hotel. Not a problem in itself but this was a loud bunch which invaded the pub, ignoring social distancing rules, and went on to partying in and around the hotel until the early hours of the morning, drinking, singing, screaming and firing their engines. Not great when you're planning an early departure for a hike. Clearly the owner didn't mind.
