  : Location and view are very good, a good new AC, almost everything needed for a short stay
  : It would be great to add a small towel for the kitchen, bathroom towels are pretty worn out and I would recommend to provide 2 towels per guest (a small one and a big one).Not related to the apartment itself, but to the building smell in the hall is just horrible and killing your nose and lungs.

  : Before I begin, let me stress that although I booked what is described as a "studio with an amazing view of Maidan Square", upon my arrival I was given a completely different apartment at Soffiivs'ka 17, which had an "amazing view" on a noisy construction site and a dirty back yard and none of the features described in this nameless and adressless "studio". When I pointed out the difference and asked for an explanation, I received a blunt, brief and somewhat offensive reply that I had booked the apartment I was given. NO, I DID NOT! I didn't even know that this apartment existed. So, what I am evaluating is not the "Studio" but the apartment at Sofiivs'ka No. 17. You are actually not dealing with the owner of the apartment, but with a rental agency, which seems to assign you whichever apartment they please under this one banner apartment called "a studio etc." So, beware! Apartment Sofiivs'ka Street 17: I liked the location at 400 meter from Maidan square, even without "an amazing view". The security of double entry doors. The good washing machine ingeniously located above the toilet in the bathroom. A shower with plenty of hot water but unfortunately not as a walk-in stall as in the studio I believed I had booked but rather in the bathtub, which. made it difficult for me to negotiated because of an injured leg. A good WI-Fi system. Adequate storage space. Julia, a rental agency representative tried her best to rectify those things that I will mention later as dislikes.
  : 1. I was not given the apartment that is shown in the photo above and described as "a studio with an amazing view..." on the booking.com website. I was assigned a totally different apartment with an "amazing view" on a noisy construction site and a dirty backyard. 2. I was never given an explanation why I was not assigned the studio that is featured on the Booking.com website, only a blunt and somewhat offensive statement when I inquired about the reason for the difference that I had booked the apartment I was given. NO, I HAD NOT. I did not even know the apartment on Soffiivs'ka 17 existed until I searched under arenda.com where I found more than 30 other apartments, the one I was assigned among the others. 3. The air conditioning did not work and many light bulbs were burned out, and it took my compalined to get the deficies addressed over a couple olf days. 4. To my surprise, the owner showed up one day opening the door of the apartment with her own keys and seemed surprised to find me there. 5. The owner attempted another intrusion of my privacy when he wanted to place a banner outside the apartment window to indicate that the apartment was for sale. I firmly said no because I did not want every agency in town knock at my door asking permission to show the apartment to a potential client while I still two weeks left on my rental. Fortunately, Juiia, the agency's representatve supported me in the matter. Well, I am not sure if I am rating here arenda.com or booking.com. This was my first experience of renting an apartment with booking.com even though I have rented manny hotels with them. This was also my first negative experience with booking.com. Perhaps renting apartments is not their stick. In any case, hiding a bunch of other apartments under one flagship and attractive option is rather deceptive and dishonest. The different aparments ought to be listed each one separately. .
