  : The breakfast was amazing and there was a huge variety of food to choose from. The amount of people however posed a problem as there was limited space to sit. The location of the hotel was great and walking distance from various restaurants in the evening and also to do some sightseeing during the day. It's very close to the City Centre. The hotel is lovely and the rooms spacious with amazing views of Kiel.
  : The staff wasn't friendly and not well equipped and completely out of their depth to handle the influx of people in the hotel. There was only 1 staff member at check in and check out, which in my opinion is not enough to handle a full hotel. Communication between staff members and their own protocol is not followed. We ordered a taxi to the Cruise terminal the night at check in and thankfully I followed up the next day before we left for sightseeing as no arrangements could be found from the previous evening. A huge problem for me is the unauthorised deductions from my credit card. I made payment in full before our travel to the hotel and with check-in they assured me that all was paid. Unfortunately a day after check out I was billed twice again on my credit card for the stay - this means I paid them 3 times. I e-mailed the hotel and also sent a message to the hotel on Booking.com, but until today (3 weeks after the incident) no response has been received. I had to report this as fraudulent deductions to my bank with proof that I already paid them, and my bank wrote back the unauthorised deductions from my card. This put a huge damper on our stay at the hotel and the fact that they didn't even bother to reply to my e-mail or message made it even more unsavory for me.

  : Nice breakfast though it was busy at first. Room had a nice view. It was an easy walk from the station and to the Colorline terminal.
  : Bigger choice of snacks available would be good for late evening arrivals.
