  : This apartment has without any doubt the most amazing views of Lake Balaton. Sitting on the balcony with a coffee and a book in a morning cannot be beaten. The apartments balcony is by far its biggest asset, it is just incredible and out of this world. Unfortunately we couldnt enjoy it in the evening due to the mosquitos but during the day it is just amazing. The seating on the balcony was very comfortable and so nice to have enough seating. The rest of the apartment is also lovely and spacious. The apartment was immaculately clean and well stocked with crockery, a large fridge freezer, toaster, kettle, toaster and a Tschibo coffee machine. The shutters were fantastic, loved the way you could adjust how open they were. The sofa was very comfortable and the TV worked well with a good selection of channels and option to log into Netflix. The shower was nice and powerful and we didnt have any issues with not having hot water like some other reviewers. We felt very safe. The location was good for the Vrosi and the Libs beaches, both probably the same distance. We tried both, slightly preferred Libs, but we love Balatongyrk so ended up taking the train there on our third day. The Vrosi beach is about an 8-10 minute walk away, the station about 15-20. Ok without suitcases but otherwise Id take a taxi. The owner is lovely and always responded promptly and her colleague who showed us to the apartment was so very lovely. We got to check in early, which was a real bonus.
  : Unfortunately the air conditioning didnt work very well, it may need servicing maybe as it just didnt cool any of the rooms despite having all windows closed. The apartment is quite a walk from the town centre so getting to a bakery or a shop is a 25-30 minute walk away, which is a real shame if you dont have a car or a bike. I wish you could have paid extra for a bike to be included in your stay as we didnt have a car. This distance of not being able to get fresh daily bread really affected how I feel about our stay and why I graded it 8. Another thing I really missed was having a washing machine. There is definitely space for it in the bathroom and I think given the quality and price of the apartment, it should come with one. When we were shown to the apartment, we were asked if wed like coffee capsules: I think these should be left in a little welcome basket. You might say no on arrival (which we did) and then change your mind. The pillows were not comfortable. However, despite saying all this, our host was lovely to communicate with and really reliable and I imagine as, given the area is still being developed, this flat will probably be given shops nearby in time. And that balcony is lovely! We definitely dont regret having stayed here.

  : Location was great, right on the lake, though getting to the apartment was a little tricky by car.
  : Getting into the building was a bit problematic intially, there were some issues with the automatic gate through which one had to enter into the building's garden. Towels in the apartment were a bit scarce and were very basic.
