  : Everything was functionally ok, and basically clean. Served its purpose. The location is really nice and beautiful.
  : Despite the lake-side location, the room was in a road-side house with possibly a mould problem. Also the room was quite retro (not in a positive way).

  : Good value for money, great location, friendly staff, lovely surrounding for casual walk-about. Good breakfast. I was hesitant to book because of some bad reviews, bur I am glad that I chose this place instead of the next available one in Pajarinhovi. My room in Karjalan kievari was half cheaper, and yet included similar benefits. The rooms were maybe not as modern and stylish, but about same size with same appliances as in Pajarin hovi. I found here the comfort I was looking for, exept for the missing soap in bathroom. The breakfast was better than I expected from these reviews, and the friendly attitude of the staff was contagious. It was great to see other travellers in good mood. The camping area had a homely feel to it and I enjoyed walking about around the hotel. This is a good location to stop if you are a casual traveler trying to deside which way to head next. The roads fark here between Savolax and Karelia. I spent a day exploring locally at Keslahti and Uukuniemi and was surprised of the delights I foynd, even at the ends of the furthest country roads.
