  : The view was the only good part of the stay at this hotel Loved The Highlands, will return again soon and stay somewhere nice!
  : Unacceptable noise from guests above  (they were not doing anything untoward) could hear every step and noise when they arrived, balconies felt like a  prison with bars, ashtrays provided for non smoking rooms and absolutely no privacy from neighbours either side or above, very, very dated and tired furniture, big black scuff marks on the walls (could have been easily cleaned)Grouting round the shower needs urgent attention.Radiators need a good vacuum and the walls need attention due to peeling paper. The toilet brush was absolutely disgustingly filthy and belongs in the 1970s.The 'fluffy ' towels, as described on the website had clearly not been delivered to our room!!Breakfast was a buffet but presented in a very unattractive hot plate, couldn't see the contents through the plastic until you lifted the lid, food did not appear fresh, toast was delivered to the table cold and 2 packages of butter between 2, fried eggs were not nice ( over cooked ) and everything luke warm, overall a very poor breakfastFood in the bar was not great, the worst mussels I have ever eaten, definitely not fresh, and food came out exceptionally quickly after orderingThis room was £250 per night and we were due to stay for 4 nights, could only manage 3 nights..worst place we have ever stayed.When I complained about the noise upstairs to the man in reception, he said... I will pass your complaints on, but heard nothing.We were woken by the guests upstairs again at 11.30pm on tue 2nd July, the very loud noise continued until 02.30, creaking floor boards, taps on and off, wardrobe door sliding open and shut etc, we should not hear that.Decided to check out after breakfast due to being exceptionally tired and disappointed with the stay. I explained to the receptionist why we were leaving, and she said ....oh, I will write your comments down and pass them on to the manager,  no apology, just let us walk away.

  : The staff were all very friendly. The manager at reception was very helpful for our unexpected late arrival. The beds were very comfortable and we had a good night sleep. The hot tub and pool are kept warm which was wonderful after our long hike up a mountain. Really good views from our room. We hope to be back some day.
  : The tea and coffee at breakfast are not great. Would be good to offer guests a coffee machine to make their own and the tea was served very weak, we couldn't actually taste any tea. We ended up going out for coffee every day. However the food at breakfast was great! An excellent choice of options and cooked well.
