  : The facilities were quite good, and my wife was very impressed with the sauna and wellness area. The were courteous and helpful, and made efforts to accommodate our requests. Breakfast was very good, and we appreciated the variety, and the attention of the servers to keeping things restocked, even in busy periods.
  : The fitness area was disappointing, particularly in comparison to the rest of the wellness area. We were also surprised about the "energy surcharge" that was added on top of the booking price. It was waived by the front desk staff when we complained, but it shouldn't have been there in the first place. If you need to raise room rates, raise them, and don't hide extra charges.

  : We ate prawns in the famous :) restaurant and they were fresh but incredibly salty!!! We had stomach problems all night. Although we told two different service personnel, neither the price was deducted from the price nor the chef's apologised. The chef's should have apologised, not the service staff. They did not reduce the price either, which was around 20 Euros. The total bill was 150 Euros. Although we bought a room with a balcony at the entrance, they claimed that there was an indication (if there is space). However, this was written in German and we did not understand it. There is a big trick.I have stayed in this hotel 15 times, but I think this is the last time. Every time I come, the decline on every level is noticeable and it saddens me. It used to be my favourite hotel. Even the shower head in the bathroom needs your creativity to stabilise the temperature. The safe is very difficult to use. Even the attendant we called had difficulty :)Room service charges a tip of 15 euros. But they don't change the sheets or the towels. or refill the mini bar when it's empty. So I left a message on the minibar with a loving and heartfelt message in English. But they didn't understand that not everyone has to understand every language, but it is necessary to work honestly and systematically.I hope either the CEO or the boss will change and this marvellous hotel will return to its good old days.

  : We really loved the spa area and such a pretty view outside. The staff was really friendly and very helpful.
  : It was a little bit cold because of the thin blanket, but overall the room was very comfortable.

  : The location is stunning overlooking the city of Kassel and a nice park / woods just in front of the hotel. Also all the staff is super friendly and going out of their way.
  : we missed a more cozy set up and more place to informally sit together and enjoy drinks - there were only a few seats at the bar which is right next to the reception which is right next to the entrance and makes it feel more like a passage. everything is very functional and missing the right atmosphere. the whole place is more catering to conference settings than to enjoy a family weekend. also rooms/bathrooms in the annex building could use a makeover. overall, too overpriced for the quality of rooms and facilities. and charging 5,- per night for energy cost on top of the room price is not what you would expect from such place.
