  : Kars-i Sirin Otel is a comfortable, modern hotel, with everything one needs. I arrived very late, due to a delayed Dou Ekspresi train from Ankara, and the reception couldn't have been friendlier. The hotel is centrally located in Kars, with most sights one wants to see, within walking distance. Breakfast is good.

  : Very clean. Excellent staff - helpful & friendly. Nese especially. Was also set up with an extraordinary driver, Tahsin, who took me to several places outside of Kars (thank you, Nese). No time limits set (especially at Ani) or pressure to hurry. Very patient, friendly, fair price and safe driving. I would stay again.
  : The smoking and late night conversations of other hotel guests who would sit below the window of my room until well after midnight.

  : Most of the staff couldn't speak basic English which made arranging for tours difficult.

  : Location was good on the edge of the main downtown district. Easy walk to supermarket, restaurants and shops. Big room. Staff eager to please and called to offer coffee soon after arrival. Street outside was quiet. Room was very warm in spite of Kars' freezing winter temperatures.
  : Carpet in the hall was very stained. Some mould in shower and broken glass in one lamp shade. Wifi was dreadful. Mostly it didn't work at all and when it did it was slower than old fashioned dial up. I was told a taxi had been ordered to take me to the train early in the morning and even how much it would cost but it didn't turn up at the designated time meaning I had to trot along the street in -17oC weather to find another taxi.

  : This is a good hotel. I had a nice, clean, big room that did not smell of cigarette smoke. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It is in a good central location, easy walking distance from the train station and the sites of Kars. It is just around the corner from where the bus goes to Ani ruins. Breakfast was a classic Turkish assortment. I enjoyed my stay here.

  : The staff were super helpful with organising a trip to Ani for me, even though it was very short notice and I arrived late in the evening. It was the highlight of my time in Turkey.
