: The location was amazing, very close to the 12th Century church, Agios Petros, that we especially wanted to see. The balcony offered a lovely view over the village and down to the sea at Stoupa. Only wish the weather had allowed us to enjoy it more.Or host, Vagelis, was extremely helpful. He met us at the entrance of the village, advised us on parking, and drove us and our luggage to and from the apartment. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet.We explored the village and managed to see all 10 of the churches in the village, although one was only accessible from outside a wall and fence.It is only a 10-15 minute drive down to the coast at Stoupa and another 5-10 minutes into Kardamyli.If you want to explore West Mani this is a great option.
: Probably due to us being there in late September, the options for eating out in the village were very limited, and the available options on the menu were even more limited. That said, we did enjoy two lovely meals in the village. There were cooking facilities at the apartment, but no grocery market in the village, so be prepared to bring supplies with you (Vagelis did warn us about this).Be warned that the streets through the village and to the apartment are very steep and rough and not suitable for most cars. The locals seem to manage with no problem, but I think it takes practice and experience.Also, even though Vagelis told us where to park, someone had left a friendly "No Parking" note on our car when we came to leave.

: Charming mountain village with a view of the sea in the distance. Dont bring a large car as the roads around the village are very narrow. it is only a 20 minute drive to several nice beaches. The hosts are very nice and caring people. We were met at the outskirts of the village when arriving after dark and shown the way. Our luggage was delayed and the host picked up one of our bags in Kalamata and brought it to the hotel - very nice gesture. There are two tavernas as the village square where you can eat.
