: - Hosts: Zita and Georg were very nice. Zita was available on the Booking app and in WhatsApp all the time. Georg met us in the apartment when we first arrived, explained everything and was super friendly. - Location: It is in the quiet part of Kaprun, just a few minutes walk from the restaurants/bars/shops and a 10-15 min walk to the Maiskogel lift. Although we always drove to the Kitzsteinhorn lifts (10 min drive). - Apartment: Small but well equipped. I managed to cook some breakfast and dinners there. The bed is very big and the mattress is some sort of foam memory, so it seams very soft (I like harder beds) but, it was comfortable after all. There was always enough hot water. Plenty of towels and even house slippers. Would have loved an extra toilet roll (got only 2 for 1 week stay). - Accessibility: 1st floor, only about 15 stairs in total from the street. Parking all around the building, always enough space. - Balcony: If you park on the balcony side, you can move equipment from the apartment into the car easily, also there is some view of the mountains (not a lot). All in all, it is good value for money, I would definitely recommend and some people probably wouldn't mind the noise I mentioned, we are just light sleepers and really seek the peace and quiet.
: - Sound isolation: Kind of felt like we were in an hotel, because we could hear everyone coming in and out. Also, could hear top floor and especially, the bathroom of one of the neighbours. Not sure if next to us or on top - but, when someone took a shower or turned on the washing machine - is was louder than when we did it. - Room temperature: As we were told the room is heated 2 ways, floor heating and a heating battery inside the apartment. You could turn off the battery but, you couldn't control the floor. So at night even with 2 windows open, it was hot and sweaty. - Proximity of the parking lot and ground floor: because you are on the 1st floor and your balcony is facing the big parking lot, if you like to keep your windows open, you will hear every door smash, every car and person coming in and out of that parking lot - and it happens all day, especially around 8am and after 17pm. - Wi Fi: It was decent at times and then there were times we just used our cellular internet. - Bathroom: The washing machine moved quite a lot during the spin cycle. Also, there is a machine on the wall that is supposed to spray scent once in a while, but I guess it was empty because it just made a knocking sound and flashed green all the time (at night we had to close the bathroom door, since it was so bright.
