  : We have had the pleasure of coming to Kalyves for the last 12 years and have stayed in a few places and made many friends. Due to circumstances we left it late to book this year so options were limited. Lion suites were one of the last places still available (we know why now!) and looked good on the website. The bathrooms are tiny with no space for a fixture on the wall for the shower head. There is a nearby main road which is very noisy at most times so sleeping with an open door is not an option. This location and quality is very overpriced, you can find a lot better places for less money as we have done in the past. The women who runs this, is the rudest person we have met on a holiday. On our second day, she actually handed our children a dustpan and brush and expected them to clean up a small amount of sand left on a balcony from one of their toys and told not to do it again! I was tutted and moaned at because the one clean she wanted to do on our stay, I asked if she could give us time to get up as we were all still asleep. (Anyone would think we were on holiday!) Upon our return I have read other reviews and found we arent the only ones she treats like this. She certainly doesnt make you feel welcome! She then, at the end of the holiday charged us 80 for using the air conditioning which when we booked it, said was included, she didnt even discount this for 1 very hot night when we had a power cut, which we received no apology for? She left me no option to pay this as she held my wifes passport to ransom. When we told the locals we know, they werent surprised when they knew were we we staying! Lesson learnt and will book earlier for next year now!

  : Air conditioning only for an additional fee. No mosquito nets. There are blinds with holes, but this is not enough for normal air circulation. So you either have to use the air conditioner or sleep with insects in the apartment. Considering the experience of renting other apartments in Kalives, I can say that it is worth looking for another apartment instead of this one.

  : You wont get a better location, a 1 minute walk to an outstanding beach. The roof terrace is very well equipped as a chill and dining zone. The kitchen is fully equipped should you need to eat in your room.
