Divani Meteora Hotel

Poor
Traveller Type: Traveling as Couple
: After we realised that someone has heavily smoked in the room we should have stayed in and it was very smelly, we were able to change the room.
: It is a very outdated hotel in a very touristy area. Definitely way overpriced! It's not at all romantic and charming as it looks in the pictures... It certainly needs renovation. The breakfast is of very low quality. The only reason we wanted to stay there was the "Spa" - but when we arrived the pool was ice cold and the Sauna was not even on (althigh the website said, the spa was open until 9pm). The staff was so kind and offered to start the sauna exclusively for us, but it took 1-2 hours to properly warm up so we could not use it in the end... The view seems nice at first: but the area us very loud, the restaurant faces the street, not the mountains (why?), and the Mountain-View rooms face a very loud and dirty rooftop... All in all a very disappointing experience. Would not recommend it.

Wonderful
Traveller Type: Family with Young Children
: Room was clean, updated, bed and pillows were comfortable.
: There was no coffee or tea available in the room, nor lobby. It was only available at breakfast. The view of the rocks from this hotel is okay- there are better views from smaller pensions. However, this hotel looks to be one of the most modern and updated ones in town.

Pleasant

: Breakfast buffet was lovely. Staff was very friendly. This is the best hotel available when visiting meteora.
