  : The unit itself was pleasant, clean, and the owner of the unit did a great job making sure it was stocked with everything you may need, in a well organized way.
  : The unit/rental is managed by the worst property management team I have ever interacted with. I tried almost every day for over 2 weeks to contact them to have an issue resolved, and they would not call me back. On some days a person would answer the phone, and say they can’t help us but would leave a note for the person who could, yet it would be radio silence for days on end. Even when we called back it was rare that we could get someone to answer nor a response on their text line that they said to contact for faster assistance. At no point did we come anywhere close to a discussion or resolution to our issue which was 100% their issue to resolve. I would actively recommend anyone looking to avoid booking a rental managed by Maui Paradise Properties.

  : Clean, Cosy, quiet in evening, comfortable king bed, lots of ceiling fans, fast wifi internet, great TV and channel selection, stove and fridge worked well, opened windows for airflow and cooling in lieu of using AC (did not use AC once), physical location to nearby grocery store (Times) and gas station (ABC). Never had one issue with a stranger parking in our assigned parking stall.
  : Small red ants in kitchen sink and bathroom area (which were quickly dealt with by management). We arrived late at night, the exterior walkway was very dark in the evenings especially the stairway to 2nd level (no light and stairway was painted dark brown to make it even more difficult to see where you were stepping unless you used a flashlight). Would recommend having building maintenance paint the stairway a lighter colour or add light over stairway. Also would suggest owner adding "sheer" curtains over bedroom windows to provide privacy from walkway pedestrians and still allow for air flow. Existing curtains were good heavy black out but did not allow for air flow, so had to settle for one or other. Zero access to beach area was a minor disappointment.
