  : The location is near all important locations and easily approachable.There is a small refrigerator to use if you have any food or drinks to cool, and a hair dryer in the bathroom. The bed is very comfortable and bedding was clean. There is a tv in the room with cable and plenty of programs to watch.The lady who welcomed us to the place was very accommodating about the delay in arrival (we had arrived around 11pm due to travel delay and were worried we wouldn't be able to check in that late). She helped me to the apartment and showed me everything.They reply to messages promptly.
  : The place is NOT pet friendly. I had double checked upon booking if it is indeed okay to come with a dog (a golden retriever mix) - it's a working dog and we were in town for a conference. I was assured that this is fine. However, upon arrival I was asked to "not come and go during the day because the neighbors complain about dogs in apartments" (the apartments are in a residential building). On the day before my last, I was asked not to come back at my usual time because a tenants meeting was held and they might see the dog and complain to the owner. This is very impractical - I really expect to use the apartment I rent without being asked to hide from somebody. Please revise your pet friendly policy and note that it's just for small dogs if this is the case.The loft I was in (app 11) had some sort of machinery behind the bed, in a crawl space. I was explained that it was a water heater. It kept making loud ticking noises all the time - I was just able to sleep through it because I came dead tired and went out for the day very early.On the fourth night, something happened and the machine started buzzing very loudly, and I had to call the attendant, who tried to convince me that this is normal and no cause for concern - I had to argue that I am definitely not able to sleep next to such noise, and was finally allowed to move to a different apartment for the remaining two nights.The bathroom has a very strong sewer smell and both toilet and bathroom door should be closed at all times if you don't want to smell it. It helped a little when I put a towel over the drain vent. Also, shower stall really needs re-caulking, the seals are black with mould.The wifi did NOT work. I was able to connect to the wifi for 3 minutes upon my arrival and for 5 days after, I couldn't connect to the internet despite having full signal. Definitely count on having a backup internet option (such as buying a local SIM card) and don't expect wifi here.
