  : The apartment was spacious with two levels, both with balconies. The view was beautiful looking over the beaches and rugged mountainous background. We had a great stay at Kounenos apartments. Always had a cooling breeze. Used the location as a base to explore Lassithi Plateau, Ha Gorge, Rosa Gorge, Richtis Gorge, Myrtos, Heraklion wine region, Sitia and other small villages in the South Eastern parts of Crete. Great local food at Pachia and Kroustas. Yiannis the owner was very laid back and helpful. Nila also looked after use during our 5 day stay.

  : Photos can be deceiving compared to the reality you get upon arrival.
  : Nice location, great view in a relaxing setting but the apartments need modernization. We were there in late June, our apartment was old.

  : - Spacious and quiet apartment.- Best panoramic view we ever had from our balcony.- Great pool too, the kids loved it.- Its in a convenient location to explore Lasithi area.
  : - Its not in walking distance from shops, beach, restaurants, you need a car to move around.- The bathroom had a bathtube with a plastic curtain.- There are multiple steps/levels in the apartment so you need to take care especially in the night not to trip over.

  : The view of the studios was gorgeous and our host was incredibly friendly and attentive to our needs. If you're looking to stay on the east side of the island, this is a great option next to a paradisiac beach.
  : The stove in the kitchen was a bit small in the studios to properly cook but the kitchen was very equipped otherwise.

  : Balcony on upper floor with fantastic view an bay below. Terrace on lower flow, also nice view. Spacious rooms with upper and lower floor. Apartment suited for 4 people, so with ony 2 it was definitely more than enough space. Spacious shower, which were not a given in other accomodations on crete. Nice sized pool with numerous lounge chairs. Nice fruit basket. Only a 15-20min walk down to the Voulisma Beach and the small village with restaurants.
  : I do generally prefer harder matresses, but these were way too hard. For someone how does not drive that much und comes from a flat area, the steep and narrow road up to the apartments was quite difficult to navigate. Not a very spacious parking lot on the property. We parked the car outside the propery on an inofficial parking lot, which turned out fine in the end.
