  : The hotel is set within 5 minutes walk from Sultanahmet square. The staff is very nice and rooms are decent.

  : The location was very good. Only 3 5 minutes away from the main attractions. The room was quite nice as well. We really liked tall window in the room, it was very pleasant to open it in the morning :) Also the stuff speaks various languages, so that is convinient.
  : It is not a big problem, but it is quite unusual, based on my experience: we didn't get new (full) toilet paper rolls when we arrived. I quess the stuff might have been thinking about saving trees, but at first it was a bit scary for me to use it, as i did not know, what kind on people (maybe they do not wash their hands) used them before me...

  : Good location in the old part of Istanbul. Hotel receptionist helped us arrange airport transportation.
  : Room was dirty. There were hairs on the bed and in the sink, dust in every corner and mould in the shower. Two light bulbs went out and the toilet paper holder fell off. Our room was on the first floor and one morning, the cleaning staff had opened the door to the balcony widely and did not close it, which we noticed when we got back to the hotel at 10 pm - our things could easily have gotten stolen and the room was freezing cold.We only got 1 duvet/blanket for two people. No breakfast.

  : The location was superb, super close to at least 3 important moments in istanbul. It made it very walkable. It was a good value
  : An average outdated room, the wallpapers were peeling off the wall. We got a room on the ground floor next to the reception desk and every morning and night we got woken up by people chatting in the hallway. Either the receptionist was on the phone or chatting to some guests it was very loud and constant. The worst was smelling cigarette smoke from the outside because the receptionist was smoking right by the automatic doors outside. Or maybe he didn't even bother going out cause our room stank like an ashtray. The walls in the hotel are incredibly thing you can hear all sorts of sounds from everywhere. I would recommend looking for another hotel though maybe it would have been a lot better on the floor higher up, I won't know now.

  : From the warm welcome at check-in to the friendly service, Hotel Mevlana provided a cozy retreat throughout my stay. One staff member, Faith, went above and beyond to offer helpful recommendations for dining and activities in the area. I plan on returning for the exceptional hospitality again!

  : The location was good and very quiet.The service was pleasant and helpful. It is a reinforcement of "you get what you pay for."
  : The washroom.had a district sewer, unpleasant smell.The bed, pillows and comforter were very lumpy and therefore we didn't get a good sleep.The room and hotel are outdated, wallpaper peeling off the wall.The view of the Bosphorus was very limited.We would neither recommend it nor return to this hotel.
