  : The beach was very nice. It was not crowded.
  : My stay in 218B The Village in Wild Dunes so far has been very disappointing. Our check-in time was at 4 PM. When we arrived at the 5802 address, the arms were down and we not given a code to get into the parking garage. We finally made it to the condo and to our surprise, the keys did not work and a woman cleaning the condo. This was around 4:15. I called Vacasa, and a lady told me we had to go all the way back to the Vacasa office at 1400. When we arrived back at 1400, the very unknowable lady at the desk, who had no idea about the pass code for the parking garage, told me that I need to go back to guest services at Wild Dunes to get help with our keys to the condo. Finally in the condo. Gnats EVERYWHERE in the kitchen. The thermostat was not attached to the wall and was just sitting in a hole in the wall. Also, the thermostat would never stay set, it always went to 74 degrees. Time for bed. When we pulled out the sofa bed, crumbs of old food littered the mattress. After cleaning the mattress, we find out the sofa bed is broken and the mattress is no mattress at all. The springs and metal bars could be felt all the way through it when you laid upon it. Today, a blowup mattress was delivered along with big spray. To cleanup any spills or even sand from the beach. We find out there is no broom and the vacuum cleaner that is suppose to be in the condo, is not here. A broom and dust pan is to be delivered tomorrow morning. I guess what I'm getting at is this, our vacation here at Wild Dunes very very disappointing and we will never stay at this place again!
