  : The place was pleasant enough and leisure facilities are excellent. Good value for what you get. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Food was nice at dinner. Girl at reception was very nice and couldn't be more helpful
  : Some places are a bit run down. I am not a fan of fried eggs being left out. They overcook and go rubbery. Prefer to have them freshly cooked. Some staff totally ignoring you, not even a good morning or good evening. Couldn't get away from you quick enough. Also was looking to relax with a night cap(about 10.30pm) after being away all day only to be told bar was closed due to power cut. When it was clear all the power was on. As tap lights were on and till.

  : * OK location, easy and straight forward walk to Ben Nevis Visitor Centre (duration about 30 minutes). Most important to me. * tea/coffee maker* breakfast just OK (I try to find something positive about this joke hotel)* Leasure facilities: gym, swimming pool, saunas, jacuzzi (just a bit tired)
  : * staff was unpleasant* room 508 old/tired furnitures and damp smell* room has all cardboard walls so it was very noisy. You can hear someone's conversations, walks, snoring, drying hair etc. * during my two nights stay, I had no hot water in the bathroom. I checked in at 22:30 so first night I didn't take shower! Next day I reported the problem to the reception and the staff wasn't helpful. This day I climbed Ben Nevis! and when I came back to the hotel, still the problem wasn't solved! They suggested to take a shower in Leasure Centre, where female changing room with showers was out of order! I couldn't believe it! Alternatively, for all ladies offered one, disabled toilet/shower! No comments!* Generally, whole hotel is old, used and tired. I'm glad that I was just two night there.

  : Room was outdated, falling to bits and unkept/ unclean. Frayed, dirty and dilapted furniture in rooms and corridors (carpets/curtuins were worn down and frayed) Despite being listed as a luxery room, the room and bed was uncomfortable, overpriced and not value for money. Low water pressure in bathroom for showering, was an issue after climbing "Ben Nevis". Believe we got put in the "budget" hotel adjacent for a luxery price, room did not match photos as shown on website. (both booking.com and the hotels own.)Was very disappointed, will not recommend and not rebook. Was not worth the value we paid for it. I've lived in better facilities, serving abroad.
