  : The location is stunning. The staff were very hard working, professional, friendly and attentive. I can not fault the staff at all. The food was of a very high standard with a varied evening menu. Breakfast was excellent.
  : The Hotel was a little tired. To start with it needed a good clean. Lots of cobwebs and dust/dead midges everywhere. Don't look up when you are eating of you don't like spiders! But we only did see 2 staff members and they were working flat out so i am guessing didn't have enough time to do a deep clean. I am not blaming the staff, they were doing a great job. The hot water in our room only lasted half a shower before cutting out. You couldn't open the Bathroom window so it was overed in a black mold. The bedroom window was stuffed with wet toilet paper (previous guests?) to stop the wind blowing through the rotten woodwork. The bed throw was stained.

  : The breakfast.
  : The facilities were old and worn out. The bed was small and very narrow. There was a large extractor fan bolted to the outside wall, which made the room hum when it was running, it was switched on at 7 am.

  : Great location. Excellent food all round good stay.

  : Seemed like the season had finished ,minimum staff,slow service ,no log fires. Food was good except a special dietary request for a plain omelette which was very low quality with no colour. Not muchchoice in remote area so put up with it.
  : More staff,Cold lounge area with empty fireplace .
