Cozy Interlochen Cabin Less Than 1 Mile from Green Lake!

  : The location is lovely with a view of Bear Lake out the front window. The size of the cabin was good for two travelers except for the bathroom which was rather small. The knotty pine gives it a comfortable feel. It looks as though there is plenty to do if you want outdoor recreation. There's a boat and kayaks and a couple seats by the water's edge.
  : First impressions are everything: we drove up to signs that seem rather negative "Don't park here", "Keep out". Inside was list of "don't do this" rules. There's a way to say things with a more upbeat feel - after all, your guests are on vacation! I've always appreciated a kind word like "Please". For two women, we had 2 bath towels, one hand towel and a wash cloth so we called to ask for a few more. The first response was "didn't I leave you 2 bath towels" and I got the impression I was asking for too much even though I was paying plenty. The bed sheets definitely need a refresh - like new ones that fit the bed! Additional bed pilllows as well as a few throw pillows for the futon would be good too. What I thought was a bit odd was that I was asked to give a favorable review as soon as we got there.
