  : from a distance Dillington House looks impressive
  : It is in dire need of improving its facilities and although we didnt use the public areas the reception and a brief glance at the breakfast area didnt inspire confidence. The room we were booked into was something out of the 1950s. We complained and received an upgrade to a larger room in an area away from the main house. This room was large but the bed had a nylon bead spread which had lost some buttons and the bed was a standard double. The bathroom had a wet room. There was only one bath towel and one hand towel provided. The outside area was poorly kept. A water feature pool was full of debris and the walkways in need of refurbishment. We asked in advance about car electric charge points. There is one but it didnt work.
