  : Location was very good. Off Highway far enough such that you couldn’t hear traffic noise. Home itself was what we expected.
  : While it was our fault, I wouldn’t stay at this property if temperatures were above 80 degrees. When we arrived on Thursday the house was 92 degrees inside. Without air conditioning it cooled to 84degrees by the next morning. So a bit uncomfortable. Also saw a mouse running around the kitchen on two different occasions.

  : No instructions on how to work the lock box. Bushes covered the address, so was hard to find. Marginally clean. Bulbs missing from several lamps. No channel guide for TV. No GFI plugs near sinks. No firewood for stove. Quite a bit of deferred maintenance.

  : The property was more beautiful in person than what the photos showed
  : Could not get down the driveway because I do not have 4x4 and scraped my car trying to get up and over the hill. I was able to back out and parked at the top of the hill and walk down.

  : Unfortunately, our trip was disappointing. While driving into the driveway to park our car, we got stuck at the top of the driveway due to a buildup of sediment on the ramp and a bad slope from the street to the driveway.The State of California driveway code specifies that the slope of a driveway cannot be more than 10% at the beginning of the separation from the street.  While the actual slope at this location is much higher than 10%, and the sediment buildup on the top,  caused our car to get stuck. Fortunately, with a manual push to the car, we were successful moving the car back to street level, and we had no choice but to park and leave the car at the side of the property; close to the street.The next day, we noticed damage on the back door of the car caused by a hit and run. If the driveway was built correctly, and we did not have to park outside, we would not have our car damaged.  Neighbors stated that they've witnessed many of the previous guests' cars getting damaged while trying to get in and out of driveway and hit and runs are frequent on that street. This was never disclosed to us when renting the cabin. Furthermore, we noticed that the sheets and bedding were unclean. The master bedroom's sheet had a stain and it was not clean. We moved to the other bedroom, and we found 3 blood stains on those sheets. Also, after one of us took a shower in the morning,the water got cold.Overall, we were looking for a relaxing and calm trip away from work to enjoy, but the trip became only a disappointment.
