  : The room was nice and clean, it had all essentials including slippers, hangers in the sliding closet and a safe box. The b&b was located at a 5 mins walk from the harbor and was easy to reach with heavy luggage. Unlike other places in hydra, youre not disturbed in the early morning by the donkeys and the church bell. The owner was really kind and also allowed us to keep our luggage in the common lounge area.
  : Obviously, as it was a semi-underground bedroom, the sunlight and street level was about half way up the window (perhaps we overpaid a title considering other friends got a terrace view at about the same price point). There is no elevator available to get to the rooms floor. Lastly, I would like to point out that there was a sign over the toilet saying not to throw paper in, just like in other (but not all) island hotels.

  : The proximity to the port is incredible, also the staff although unable to accomodate our needs was very nice to us.
  : We were given a room in the basement, with little to no sunlight on our 1st night we had to wait in vein for staff for about an hour cause we found a COCKROACH in our kitchenette, the first night was very stressfull just because we were very unpleasantly suprised by such an encounter. We asked for a different room since we payed a bunch of money to stay there, but clearly it wasnt enough to stay in a clean room.

  : We really enjoyed our stay at Alkionides. The room was small but very nice and had everything we needed. It was also equipped with a fridge and a boiler with various teas and coffee at our disposal. I highly recommend this place !

  : This was a great basic place to come rest, take a shower, have privacy. Very private and quiet.
  : No view but we knew this to begin with

  : Great location in easy walking distance from boat arrival. Nice garden entrance on quiet side street. We stayed last year and returned.
  : Some mostly low level party noise from a restaurant behind, but it stops before late.
