  : Great location for Cedar Point. Lovely peaceful country club setting. Excellent amenities including indoor and outdoor pool and spa...inviting pub style resto with good choice of food and drinks. Excellent buffet breakfast. On the whole the staff were friendly and efficient....special mention for Kora in bar who worked extremely hard to keep us fed and watered!

  : Stayed in a deluxe king room in the Cedar building for 4 nights that was very spacious, clean and quiet. Other reviewers have claimed that the sound level in the rooms was bad with the sound of doors closing and voices heard from the hall and neighboring rooms, but we didn't experience any of that. The bed was very comfortable, the air conditioner worked well, and the small refrigerator kept things placed inside cold at a temperature between 35* and 39* throughout our stay. Food at the breakfast buffet was good with a nice variety, staff was friendly and helpful. Dinner at the golf course pub was very good, loved the walleye sandwich, service was fast and friendly. The outdoor pool and fire pit area was very nice.
  : Room was very spacious, but night stands on either side of the bed were very small with only one USB charging port on each side, There was a very long, narrow countertop on the opposite side of the room with built in drawers in the middle and a microwave and small refrigerator on one end. The refrigerator was on the floor under the counter with the door opening on the right side facing the wall. This made it very difficult to use, especially for older people. The refrigerator door could be positioned to open from either side by hotel maintenance and there is plenty of room to set it on top of the counter for easier access. Although cell reception is good in outside common areas it is pretty much nonexistent inside, especially in our room in the Cedar building.

  : Room keys consistently stopped working for most people in our party and it's a long walk back to the front desk. Doors slam shut. Bathroom shower was full of mildew. Temp difficult to regulate in room.

  : Everything was very nice BUT the room and the bathroom could have been a bit cleaner. I think a hotels most important need is cleanliness. For the price — it should have been a bit cleaner. I found trash from the past guest in the room by the bed. And the bathroom had not been entirely cleaned. It wasn’t bad or gross but just things missed.

  : Our AC wasn’t really working - the room was humid and a little damp smelling. We were on the first floor and could hear every movement above us and in the hallway outside. The food choices on property aren’t really family friendly.

  : The hallways were loud wit a lot of talking and door slamming. My wife was awakened early in the morning by loud noise in the hall. I was not happy with the lack of coffee.
