  : Staff were friendly and bed sheets were clean.
  : The rest of the room was outdated and not clean, there was an awful smell from the kitchen, the shared bathrooms were not clean but for 50 a night the bed was fine with clean sheets.

  : I went to Hucknall to attend the funeral of a very dear friend. The hotel was at the end of the street where my friend lived and was also the venue for her wake so it was very convenient. The staff were very accommodating and let me leave my suitcase in the secure office while I went to the funeral, and to collect it after the wake. The room was quite basic but it was clean and comfortable.
  : The windows were double glazed but did not close completely, so were quite draughty, despite the thick curtains. The hotel is situated on a busy junction so the traffic noise was quite loud up to midnight and started again at around 5 am! If the double glazing could be upgraded to triple glazing and made more airtight, it would definitely reduce the incursion of traffic noise and draughts.

  : The stair carpet leading up to the room from the function room up to the rooms is in need of a good clean or replacing it really let's you down, I have stayed on numerous occasions and really like your location and facilities if you get the carpet sorted it will make all the difference,

  : Morgan always has a smile to greet you and makes you feel comfortable. Always very helpful . Amanda the cleaner also friendly and does a super job with the cleaning Food is great but would also like to see options for smaller meals paying nearly 15 and can only eat half Fine if your going there for a meal but when travelling not always that hungry, Great location for Hucknall train station .Easy walk to Tesco and a couple of fast food places.I've stayed there a few times since May 2022 as its convenient for the people collecting me as they only live 10 mins away.

  : The room was large, the bed was soft, and the towels were fluffy.
  : The cold tap in my room didn't work, one of the available lavatories didn't have a sink, and the shower had exposed floorboards around it
