  : We loved this rural escape in Bishan. The rooms were sweet, spacious (we had a balcony room), and well equipped. The interiors were well chosen with a fun, antique and rustic style. We only speak a little Mandarin and the staff were so helpful and understanding. We went for an escape from the city and primarily wanted to read and relax so it was perfect for us. There are many shared spaces as well as private dining rooms which makes this property perfect for small groups or families. We used the hotel bikes each day to easily explore the nearby villages. We enjoyed our Chinese breakfast every morning and the food options at the hotel were more than adequate with a reasonable menu of local fresh cooking. Its a bonus that you can enjoy the range of Bishan Craft Beer while you are there. For variety there is the Dogs Head Bistro down the road (part of the Pigs Inn group) which has a slightly different menu so you can pop there too. Overall, 100% recommend for rest and relaxation.
  : Youre in the countryside, so there are insects about which was totally fine for us but might not be for everyone. The hotel was helpful with insect repellent devices in the room but bring some mosquito spray! Also be aware of a few friendly spiders :-)
