  : Upon checking in, there were a group of women outside who were clearly working escorts. There were people smoking weed in the parking lot, and I was hesitant to even take my kid sister in, but it was late, and we needed the place to stay while on our trip, so we checked in. The attendant space was locked behind a caged door and kept addressing us rudely and like he was surprised we were staying there?As soon as we got settled in the room, my sister went into the bathroom, and I turned fown the sheets to get in bed. That's when I could see the room hadn't been fully turned over. The sheets were filthy with what looked like urine stains, and God knows what else. There were people screaming in the hallway and outside belligerently. When I went to look through the window to make sure our car was safe, I realized they were false windows that were blocked by metal plates on the outside for security purposes, so we couldn't check on the car. There were 2 roaches in the room and my sister came out of the bathroom to show me that there were drops of BLOOD on the floor and spots of water still in the bathroom as if someone had just used the bathroom less than an hour before we arrived. I told her to grab her bags, and we checked out. The attendant went back into the room and came out to confirm that they would notify booking.com so that we could vet our money back. When we came out to the parkinglot there were not 1 but 4 men standing on both sides of my vehicle which was intentionally parked AWAY from where all the people and commotion was in a well lit area facing the road. I've stayed in MANY La Quintas and I've also always booked every trip through booking.com. I will never be doing either again.I'm really upset with both booking.com and our stay at the hotel. It was grossly misrepresented by booking.com, and my family's safety was completely compromised being there.

  : Location is convenient.
  : I've stayed at this location several times in past months. On this occasion, guests were at the mercy of a band of young, out-of-control children and adolescents. No adult was in sight. When I arrived in the breakfast area soon after six , the band was cleaning out all of the food, and cooking waffles in stacks for one another. Other guests could only stand aside and watch or leave. When this band left to return to their room, they left with plates of food piled high; only crumbs remained. They were out of control with verbal and body language, leaving us to believe that we were in danger. Later in the day when I returned to the hotel, I reported to the property manager. He said that the problem had been solved. On the following morning, the same mob was in the breakfast room cleaning out all of the food, again, but their voices were quieter. I suspect that management violated its own rules for numbers and ages of people occupying a room. Also, I think that there was no adult present. During a previous stay at this location, I had to ask the desk agent to call the police for a physical and verbal upheaval near my room on the third floor. After asking for help three times, the desk agent apparently called police because the police knocked on my door to report that the uproar was quelled.This La Quinta location is convenient to my sister's Hospice facility in Bellaire.   : Elevator not working had to use stairs which were disgusting and stinky. The whole place smelled like pee and smoke. Was put in one room first which smelled so bad and had dirty linens stained with yellow. Then moved to the 3rd floor. Room was better but they need maintenance walls were dirty,
