  : Breakfast and accomodations were great. Very rustic and secluded. Exactly what we were looking for. Good recommendations for dinner. I loved that our tent had power available.
  : The deferred maintenance seemed to be impacting the general appearance of the campground. It seemed like the beginning stages of becoming pretry rundown. Road was very rough, trees needed trimming. The portapotty was very gross But good place overall.

  : The Allen Ranch Campground was an easy to find location right off of the highway. I enjoyed the campsite next to the running steam. It was pleasant to fall asleep listening to the water at night. Also, the trees provided excellent shade over my tent. The new picnic table was adequate to hold all of my cooking paraphernalia and seat my friends. The campground was peaceful and quiet overall. It was fun to socialize in a natural setting. Restroom facilities included 2 showers with hot water. The Angostura Reservoir is only a few miles away and was great for kayaking with friends.
  : The owner did not want to honor my reservation. I reserved a back-in RV site with a picnic table and shade trees near my friends. Mr. Allen said that no sites were available. My choices were to pitch my tent with my friends or camp in the exposed field with no amenities. He wouldnt even read my reservation proof. I chose to leave, until a friend arrived and told me to check the reservation board. When I told Mr. Allen that my name was on the board, he finally accepted my reservation. As a single woman, I did not appreciate having to argue with the owner to get what I reserved.
