  : It was comfortable for my little family, we also liked the design
  : Neighborhood was very loud, the house is on a main road that is extremely busy. If it's a hot day and windows needs to stay open it can disturb your sleep.

  : Comfortable little property, with all the mod cons. Including a tv in the bathroom, and a log burner.Perfect size for 2 people.It was in a nice location, although on a busy through road it didnt bother us when we were inside. Lovely little garden, didnt use but would imagine nice little sun trap in summer. Surrounded by nice walks, and in short walking distance to 2 nice pubs and some local amenities.Holmfirth about 2 miles, 4 in a taxi,Beware that some of the facilities close earlier that we expected/used to, so make sure you check closing times so you dont miss out on fish and chips like us (8pm close).Logs for burner arent provided but we found they were sold at the large coop in holmfirthWe had a fabulous stay, and would stay again.
  : The stairs internally are steep and could do with a hand rail. Also a few instructions on how to work the tv in the bathroom and coffee machines would be helpful

  : Had to park on main road which is fast45.minute walk on main roads into Holmfirth (although Holmforth Taxis take dogs if you ask)

  : The cottage is clean and nicely decorated. It's a shame about the toilet leak.
  : Toilet was leaking from the base. Dispite the owner's effort to get it repaired. it wasn't resolved and we had to clean up from time to time which was not pleasant. We finished the holiday/stay a day earlier at our expense.
