  : The size of the basement apartment was huge. The bed was very comfortable and the cleaning lady was responsive and nice. The value was great. The host got back to me quickly when any concerns I had.
  : The TV didn't work for the first day. After it was fixed,there were only a few things I could watch. It kept wanting me to pay to watch other shows/channels. I didn't like that the light switch for all 6 lights was outside of the apartment near the stairs. He should get a clap on clap off switch. I didn't understand why he had a rule of taking off my shoes before entering the apt. It was a tiled floor. It was extremely difficult to find the parking behind the house. The day before he supposedly sent me an image of how to get to the alley behind the house, but I never got it. Lastly, due to the remnants of hurricane Ida, the basement did have a lot of flooding. Yet, I can't blame the host for that. He and the maintenance person said in 12 years, they have never had flooding.

  : Spacious well thought layout, privacy curtains. Easy way to check in with a code, fast replay from the owner.
  : Although spacious and well thought layout, studio is basically converted basement with ceilings no higher than 6' and support beams about 5'6" tall. I am 5'5" tall, so I could walk safely barefoot, but my partner is 5'10" and he bumped his head against beams few times even though he was trying to be careful. Imagine someone 6' or taller, they would be quite miserable not being able to stand or walk straight. This should be clearly mentioned in the description, as it may not work for everyone.Also not much of the kitchen, just fridge and microwave, electric kettle and bathroom sink. No range or oven.
